Bowmanville Hospital Foundation Welcomes New Members to the Campaign Cabinet
BOWMANVILLE, Wednesday, June 12, 2019 – Bowmanville Hospital Foundation’s We Care, We Can Campaign Cabinet has recruited two new members to help solicit and secure meaningful gifts for the redevelopment and expansion of Bowmanville Hospital. Kirk Kemp, Campaign Chair, is pleased to welcome Bob Leveille of Wilmot Creek and Tyler Smith, Realtor, Homesmiths Real Estate Team, to the Cabinet.
“The Hospital has always been there for my family. Being part of the campaign is the very least I can do to help,” said Mr. Leveille. “This is our Hospital. As a volunteer for the We Care We Can Campaign, I am proud to help make the Hospital one of the best in Ontario.”
“I am honoured to be included on the Cabinet of the We Care, We Can Campaign,” said Mr. Smith. “As a lifelong resident of the area and someone who was born at Bowmanville Hospital, I am excited to help bring a world-class medical facility to our growing community.”
“We are fortunate to live in a community with generous volunteers like Bob and Tyler, who are willing to step up and help in any way they can,” said Mr. Kemp. “The campaign is off to a great start and will only continue to grow with time. I am thrilled to take on the role as Chair and share a commitment to our Hospital and our community with my fellow Cabinet members.”
The Cabinet was introduced at the Foundation’s Campaign Presentation & Celebration event that took place on April 17, 2019 at the Garnet B. Rickard Complex. This dedicated group of volunteers is comprised of members from of all sectors of the Clarington community with one important focus in mind: a new, state-of-the-art health care facility in Clarington for our families, friends and neighbours.
