It was a day I'll never forget

The pain became so excruciating that I was losing consciousness and could no longer walk.
My husband called 911, and I was rushed by ambulance to Bowmanville Hospital.

My experience made it clear to me when your health – and life – are at risk, having access to the very best medical care close to home is critical.
