The Bowmanville Hospital Foundation is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of your personal information. We do not lend, rent, sell or trade your information. Personal information collected by the Foundation is kept in strict confidence and retained to:
- Comply with Canada Revenue Agency and other legal requirements
- Process donations
- Keep you informed about Your Foundation/Your Hospital
- Promote donation opportunities
- Give appropriate recognition
All personal information provided by donors and supporters is secured and protected by electronic and manual safeguards against unauthorized access, alteration, or loss.
Only Bowmanville Hospital Foundation employees are authorized to access your personal information on a need to know basis for the purposes noted above. In addition, it is Board Policy that all Foundation Board Members, Staff and Volunteers sign a Confidentiality Agreement.
