JULY 5, 2021 – Vanessa Sosiak to lead Bowmanville Hospital Foundation’s Marketing and Communications Committee
BOWMANVILLE, ON – Since the release of the Bowmanville Hospital Foundation’s new strategic plan in April, 2021 – Strong, Responsive, Together – one of the Foundation’s main priorities is to expand its reach and strengthen its connection with the community.
In support of these efforts, the Bowmanville Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of its newly recruited Chair of the Marketing and Communications Committee, Vanessa Sosiak, Creative Director and Founder of Sixth Workshop. Vanessa will lead a new Marketing and Communications Committee comprised of industry leaders who will come together to support the Foundation’s marketing and communications initiatives.
Vanessa brings over 20 years of industry experience with her to the role of Committee Chair and will provide guidance as the Foundation expands its visibility across Clarington and beyond. As a Bowmanville resident herself, Vanessa offers a community-based perspective that will allow her to connect directly to the Clarington population.
“I am proud to serve as Chair of the Marketing and Communications Committee, particularly at such an exciting time in the journey of the We Care, We Can campaign and the redevelopment and expansion project of Bowmanville Hospital,” says Vanessa Sosiak. “I look forward to working closely with the members of Committee and the Foundation staff in an effort to further advance the marketing and communications initiatives of the Foundation.”
“We are so excited to welcome Vanessa to the Foundation’s growing volunteer community,” shares Frank Cerisano, Chief Executive Officer. “Her experience and expertise in the industry is a great asset that will help to support and elevate our marketing and communications strategies moving forward. Vanessa is the perfect fit to provide leadership and direction to this Committee and we are delighted to have her on board.”
The Marketing and Communications Committee will now begin its volunteer recruitment process for committee members. The Committee will support the short and long-term goals of the Foundation in support of health care in the community and the We Care, We Can redevelopment and expansion project.
