Foundation Welcomes Pankaj Panchal as New Chair of the We Care, We Can Awareness Initiative
CLARINGTON, ONT. – The Bowmanville Hospital Foundation is embarking on another transformative year with the launch of its We Care, We Can Awareness Initiative on Wednesday, May 1st. 2024. This Initiative owes its success to the unwavering support of Clarington’s influential businesses that are stepping forward to contribute by hosting fundraising initiatives in support of the Lakeridge Health Bowmanville Hospital expansion and redevelopment.
As the Awareness Initiative rapidly progresses, the foundation proudly announces Pankaj Panchal as the new chair of the We Care, We Can Awareness Initiative. “I am delighted to extend a warm welcome to Pankaj,” expressed Frank Cerisano, Chief Executive Officer. “His profound dedication, expertise and commitment to our Foundation’s mission are invaluable assets that will undoubtedly steer us towards greater success. As we embark on this journey together, I am confident that Pankaj’s vision and guidance will inspire the community to reach new heights of excellence and philanthropy.”
Pankaj, a dedicated Professional Engineer and Project Management Professional with over a decade of experience is committed to advancing the field of project management. His career started in India, and he later pursued a Master’s degree in the United States, where he enhanced his skills and knowledge. Over the past 17 years, Pankaj has worked in the energy industry, specifically in Project Management within the challenging nuclear sector. Prior to this, he gained diverse experience in the heavy chemical industry and metal fabrication sector, bringing both technical and managerial skills to his role. Pankaj is dedicated to community service, having led programs and supported initiatives in cultural programs, healthcare, and social welfare. His journey reflects his belief in the power of individual dedication and collaborative efforts to drive positive change and a brighter future.
In his new role as chair of the We Care, We Can Awareness Initiative, Pankaj will be instrumental in shaping the foundation’s strategic direction, nurturing partnerships, and championing initiatives that drive positive change in healthcare. “I’m deeply honoured to lead the foundation’s We Care, We Can Awareness Initiative into a future of continued success and impact. Together, we’ll innovate and collaborate to achieve our goals and make a difference,” states Pankaj Panchal, We Care We Can Awareness Chair.
Businesses can collaborate with the foundation through its WCWC Awareness Initiative, thus aiding in raising funds and awareness for crucial healthcare needs. All funds generated through the foundation contribute directly to the $110 M capital campaign in support of Bowmanville Hospital expansion and redevelopment.
As the community grows, the critical need for Lakeridge Health Bowmanville Hospital’s redevelopment and expansion becomes increasingly evident, addressing an almost 40-year requirement for healthcare infrastructure that aligns with the demands of our community. Join us as the Foundation’s We Care, We Can Awareness Initiative Launch Event is scheduled for Wednesday, May 1st, 2024, at Garnet B. Rickard Recreation Complex from 9:00am-11:00am. This event offers stakeholders, donors, businesses, and community members an opportunity to network and connect while diving deeper into the foundation’s campaign. The Launch Event promises to be an inspirational gathering, spotlighting collective efforts to revolutionize healthcare and forge a healthier future for all.
