At Sun Life, Sanjana is a Director of Tax and Insurance Planning where she supports Sun Life’s distribution partners and advisors to deliver cutting edge tax expertise, training, and thought leadership in all areas related to insurance taxation and tax and estate planning. Prior to joining Sun Life, Sanjana was a tax lawyer in a national law firm for fourteen years. She has also provided tax, trust and estate planning consulting at a major financial institution. Sanjana started her career at the Department of Justice where she argued cases before the Tax Court of Canada, Ontario Superior Court and the Federal Court of Appeal. Sanjana also has a Master’s Degree in Taxation from Osgoode Hall Law School.

Director, Tax & Estate, Mackenzie Investments
Jackie Power is Director, Tax and Estate Planning at Mackenzie Investments. Jackie joined the team as a Bilingual Specialist in 2011 and has been with Mackenzie Investments for 20 years. Jackie works with financial advisors to help them with their tax and estate planning needs. To accomplish this she does presentations to advisors and investors, meets with advisors one on one and answers their questions by phone and email. Jackie has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of Western Ontario.
