MARCH 11, 2022 – GOVERNMENT OF ONTARIO SPEEDS UP REDEVELOPMENT OF BOWMANVILLE HOSPITAL

On Friday, March 10, 2022 the government announced that Bowmanville Hospital is moving to stage 2 of its redevelopment project, allowing for quality care in the Clarington community sooner. MPP Coe, MPP Piccini, Mayor Foster and other representatives from the Lakeridge Health Board of Trustees joined together for the announcement.

“On behalf of Clarington Council and the entire community, I am so pleased to see the Bowmanville Hospital expansion moving forward to Stage 2,” said Adrian Foster, Mayor of Clarington. “Thanks to the Province’s ongoing commitment, we’re another step closer to the realization of this long-awaited project that will ensure continued access to timely, high-quality health care in our growing and vibrant community.”
